Greetings and salutations,
In a recent bit of soul searching, I decided to part ways with Amazon (I'll explain how I came to this conclusion in a later post). On June 23rd, I'll remove my Kindle eBooks and paperback titles from Amazon. I've already begun the process of removing my paperbacks from 3rd party sellers and other retailers (i.e. Barnes and Noble).
Where does that leave you, the readers? After this change, I am no longer selling paperback copies of my books anywhere. I may give out free copies at events or to members of my newsletter in the future, but I have no plans on selling them online or in person or making them widely available. If you want paperback copies of any of my books, now is the time to head over to my store and get them before June 23rd.
As for eBooks, I'm migrating some of them over to Issuu, where you can read and download them for free. I've already begun to move over some of my titles. Other titles will be available for sale in my webstore.
If you've previously purchased my books on Kindle or downloaded them on a free day, I advise that you keep backups of the books (I recommend doing this for your entire Kindle library) in a file separate than the My Kindle Content file and/or on another storage device other than the Kindle. That way you won't have to worry about losing them once they are removed from the store.
Thanks again for your support.
